"This is how change happens. One gesture. One person. One moment at a time. "
In 2021, at the age of 92, my father passed away. It really opened my eyes to his astounding legacy. He was more than just a hard-working family man. He was also beloved by an entire community. His generosity to others was as limitless as his love for his wife and children. At his funeral, our family pastor dubbed my father, "The Prince of the Mosquito Coast." The moniker stuck with me, making me realize that I too wanted to leave a lasting footprint. Not knowing where to start, I went back to my roots, and to the village my father spent almost seventy years of his life.
St. Vincent Palloti Roman Catholic School in Unitedville was attended by myself and all of my siblings. It had fallen onto hard times, so much so, that there was not a working bathroom for the children there. And so, my mission began. I spread word to my family and friends. I made a plan to get this bathroom facility built. It was through this first project, my passion grew. I was enlightened on other opportunities to give and the wings of my outreach truly expanded.

Lastly, we are continuing the Hill Educational Scholarship Fund!
It is with a grateful heart that I get to share the exciting news: we were able to send six students to high school this year!! Along with a 50/50 partnership with Saint Ignacious High School.
Lisa McMichael, Beth Caldwell, Pam Berbach, Phyllis Reeves, and I started a scholarship program to send underserved students to high school. For some of these children, they are the first in their family to have an opportunity to attend, as high school is not free in Belize. The cost is $600 USD annually for fees and tuition. (This is a four year commitment)
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
